The Journal: Behind the Scenes & the World Unveiled

In the Journal, I tell the story of the work that leads to the images: the choices, the research, the difficulties and the questions that go with them.

1. Gallery News
Each month, I present the new exhibitions and the intentions behind the ‘Free Women’ or ‘Visual Narratives’ series.

2. Studio Memoirs — anecdotes and technique
I recount the sessions, from setting up a swimming pool in the studio to meeting a Miss World candidate, with the unforeseen and the technical solutions.

3. The Engaged Eye — society and philosophy
I also question my place as a photographer: how do we question the male gaze on women? What place should AI have in creation? What limits should we set on the idea of care through images, often called phototherapy?

Happy reading.
