Alice in cryptoland - Digital muses - Historical Bitcoin & Modern Bitcoin
In this week's Photos of the Week - YES Photographies (#22), I invite you to discover the start of an exciting new project, born of an inspiring collaboration around crypto art photography.
It all began two years ago, when a friend working in cryptocurrency suggested a crazy idea: to create an imaginary museum of the future, in images. Each photo becomes a digital muse representing a key figure in the history of crypto-assets: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance, Ledger, and so many others. All imagined for an artistic NFT collection.
We then designed 88 original images, in which my model friend embodies, with specific costumes and accessories, the spirit of each technology. To preserve her anonymity, I retouched her face with AI in each photo: a technical feat at the service of visual identity.

🧠 Two incarnations of Bitcoin
Historical Bitcoin - The original myth
On one side, an almost mystical figure, draped in matte gold and deep black. It embodies the founding myth of Bitcoin, between mystery and monetary revolution. The graphic background, inspired by ancient blockchains, gives the impression of an abandoned digital temple. It's a futuristic photo that pays homage to a recent past turned legend.
Modern Bitcoin - Coded elegance
On the other, a contemporary visual archetype, all precision and elegance. Digital glitter, symbolic wiring, assertive posing: this muse is woman and technology in one image. Her costume evokes the interface as much as the silent power of code. A fantasy photo born of a creative studio shoot, between art and algorithm.
🖼️ From photography to NFT
Each image is the result of advanced artistic photo retouching, combining classic techniques and AI photography. Although the initial NFT publication project has been put on hold, these images now find a second life through this series, like a virtual exhibition in a museum of the future.
Creating tomorrow's imagination
This project has been an extraordinary technical, human and artistic adventure. It enabled me to push the power of images even further, to embody an imaginary world at the crossroads between blockchain, sacred femininity and contemporary artistic photography.
