Explorer of intimacy

The Many Faces of Femininity

For fifteen years, I have been photographing the feminine through light, staging and encounter. What I look for in every session is the moment of intimacy when a woman stops posing and begins to appear.

Every image begins with a real encounter: a studio, a woman, a shared idea, then the time it takes for a presence to reveal itself. Portraiture, imaginary worlds, the artistic nude and sensuality pass freely through one another.

Some models once told me that my work was too well-behaved: a smoothed-over image of woman, arranged by a man. They were right. Since then, I have opened up a wider territory — the fairy and the wild woman, softness and power, grace and desire. Some of these images are frankly erotic, and I stand fully behind them: femininity, in all its diversity, embraces all these women... No Art without rebellion.

This site brings together a Public Collection, exhibitions that change every week, and the Reserve, which keeps the entire archive.

Welcome. Take the time to look.

The Reserve · Full Archive

The Reserve holds the entire Yes Photographies archive: themed collections, past exhibitions, high-definition collaborations, Studio Immersions and early research. It is organised into families, then rooms. These are the same ten rooms as the Public Collection, open in full.

What a Circle member receives

The complete Reserve in high definition, the four current exhibitions every week and the whole Exhibition Library.

Why patronage

Your support helps preserve the archive and fund the series to come. It pays for electricity, bulbs, software, the fees of some professional models and working hours — sometimes a whole night for a few images. It lets me keep pursuing my choices as a photographer.

I came for the aesthetics, the light, the framing. It is very controlled, you can see the work that went into it. But as the series went on, I felt something else. A presence. A silence. These photos stay in the mind. They don’t show, they let things appear.

Alex M.

I was a little afraid it would be too suggestive or clichéd. In fact, it is quite the opposite. These images let me feel sensuality without feeling like a voyeur. It reconciled me with a more just, more respectful way of looking. And frankly, it does me good.

Marc L.

I was curious at first, a little guarded. But as I went through the galleries, I surprised myself looking differently. Less in judgement, more in listening. These photos made me aware of how I rest my gaze on women – and to change it a little. That is rare.

Nora B.

Seeing some of the photos, I thought about my own body. Not to compare it, but to see it differently. More gently. There is something in that gaze that heals. I didn’t expect it.

Emilie G.

Each gallery plunges me into a different world. It’s not just a series of photos, it’s an experience. Sometimes I get lost, sometimes I find myself. It’s like walking in a dream you don’t need to understand.
