This week in Photos of the Week – YES Photographs (#27), I present a luminous diptych, where gold becomes language. On one side, a mythological goddess, covered in gold leaf, embodies the archetype of sacred femininity in its most solar form. On the other, a warrior inspired by the world of Luis Royo, clad in golden armor, powerful and conquering.
Two golden figures, two visions of feminine power: one invokes, the other acts. One illuminates, the other cuts.

The golden goddess
The first series pays homage to feminine myths and archetypes: hand-covered in gold leaf, this artistic feminine photoevokes divine symbolism: light, abundance, inner radiance... Gold is not just an ornament: it becomes a second skin, an offering of light.
This mythological goddess, timeless and silent, is a figure of the sacred feminine: she doesn't seduce, she watches. Photo retouching amplified the living texture of the metal on the skin, creating the impression of a sculpture of light.
The warrior Royo - power and radiance
The other series plunges into the world of erotic fantasy inspired by Luis Royo: armed, golden, sensual and implacable, this warrior is not a victim of fantasy: she is its author.
The details of the armor, the metallic textures, the studio shadows and chiaroscuro accentuate the visual tension, while respecting the nobility of the model.
Two faces with the same radiance
Under the golden fire, two presences are revealed: One invokes the forgotten gods, standing erect, offered to the heavens. The other shines like a weapon of light, forged by the fire of will.
They embody two paths to the same power: the radiance of being a woman in beauty, strength and light.
