Luis Royo white and warrior lingerie
This week in Photos of the Week - YES Photographies (#20): white lingerie and Luis Royo warrior .I invite you to plunge into a world of contrasts, where white becomes both soft and powerful, fragile and rebellious. Two series, two incarnations of the female body, brought together by a refined aesthetic and a visual tension between white lingerie and warrior Luis Royo.

The cotton warrior
As a mirror image, I created a figure freely inspired by the phantasmagorical universe of Luis Royo. The warrior is there, powerful and determined, dressed in shreds of white cotton, as if softness had wrested itself from passivity. The drapery becomes fragments of armor, the skin revealed has nothing fragile about it. Her gaze is that of a character who has crossed the ruins of a world to emerge still standing. In this series, white no longer signifies purity, but survival, willpower and the sovereignty of a body in struggle.
A fertile tension between light and power
This series was born of a desire to explore the multiple meanings of white: on the one hand, it is silk, caress, suspended softness. Between these two poles, I weave a visual narrative in which light becomes revealing, but never neutral. Light is emotion, tension. It dresses as much as it reveals.
Revealing whiteness
On the one hand, a very pure series: white lingerie on a white background, no decor, no distractions. Only skin, fabric and light. Here, white becomes a sensual material: it doesn't cover, it reveals. It brings out texture, emphasizes folds and traces curves with modesty and intensity. It's a hushed, suspended eroticism, where every transparency becomes a confidence: the gaze moves through this silent, almost sacred space, where the body stands like a simple, luminous offering.
Two faces of the same feminine
Purity and strength. The woman in white lingerie and the warrior in cotton are two facets of the same presence. One offers intimacy, the other imposes myth. One reveals herself, the other makes a claim. But both embody a way of inhabiting light, body and space with awareness and intensity.
It is this plural vibration of the feminine that I seek, each week, to reveal.
A wonderful week to you all,
