Myths and legends

Here I gather ancient goddesses, dark warriors and heroines of Pop Culture. Between mythological nude and dark fantasy, I work with the characters that people my imagination.

 

Catherine Tramell (Basic Instinct) calls to mind a cutting coldness; Mystique, mutation. I also come across Leeloo, Daenerys, Cleopatra, Harley Quinn and Alice here, along with Luis Royo’s warriors and solitary adventurers. All the characters are reinterpreted as adults.

 

Sensuality finds its place in these fictions. I can see in them a tension with power, a ritual or magical dimension. These readings belong to the characters I stage.
