Here we are already: it is the last week of our monthly cycle. To conclude this visual adventure, it’s the turn of What’s New in the Studio. This is often where I gather my most recent work, my lighting research or my technical favourites. Whether complex portraits or cinematic stagings, this category is the laboratory of my latest inspirations. It is my way of ending the month with you on a strong, creative note.

What’s New in the Studio: The Energy of the Star - A nocturnal odyssey where matter flows between sky and earth.

I have always seen myself as a sculptor lost in the century of the image. Facing the lens, light is not a mere technical projection: it is a clay that I knead, a dense matter from which I seek to draw volumes, reliefs and grain. For this new series, the intention was born from a powerful, timeless archetype: that of the universal figure of the tarot star in photography, a benevolent guide beneath a celestial vault, pouring the water of her vases into the current of an infinite river. A return to the source, raw, fluid and mystical.

The studio became the theatre of a genuine painterly dreaminess. We worked on deep, almost magnetic chromatic contrasts. The model’s electric-blue, vibrant hair stood out like a living nebula against the backdrop of a starry night, which we had patiently shaped beforehand to give it an almost palpable texture. The atmosphere on set vibrated with a rare poetry. Water, the central element of the project, was not a mere decorative prop. Sliding along the pottery and joining the bed of the reconstructed river, it caught every flash of our spotlights, creating lines of force of fascinating geometric purity.

In my approach to art photography, collaboration with the model is the absolute foundation of the work. Here, no passivity or object gaze. She embodies a serene strength, a sovereign presence that redefines the art of the nude through the prism of transmission and creative fertility. Emotion is born not from contemplating an exposed body, but from the highly tactile dialogue between skin, the terracotta of the vases and the fluidity of the liquid element. Every click captured this unique texture, this grain of skin mingled with luminous droplets. This shoot was a moment of pure grace, a dive into a magical realism where the silhouette becomes the suspended bridge between cosmos and earth. A manifesto for a vibrant, powerful and deeply inhabited artistic nude.

To see this week’s exhibitions or all of my work, here are the options:

And so our month in images comes to an end. I hope you enjoyed discovering these four series as much as I enjoyed creating them. If you missed an episode or want to dive without limit into all of these galleries (and the previous ones), the Pass remains the best way to support my work and miss nothing. Thank you for your loyalty, and see you next month for new stories!
