The Yes Photographies Summer 2026 Site Overhaul Continues! Chance, Play and Your Own Collection

Hello everyone,

The great summer works of 2026 continue on my Yes Photographies site, and this time they touch the very way of looking at my images.

The Figures Game - new in the site’s 2026 summer works

In the Public Collection, a card is drawn at random.

You click, a photograph appears. That one and no other. It is a way of letting chance compose your visit, and of meeting an image you might never have looked for.

I love this gesture: it gives the eye back its share of surprise.

For patrons, the same game opens onto the whole archive: 33,000 photographs.

I amused myself by doing the sums. One image a day comes to ninety years of visiting. Enough never to see the bottom of the well.

In 2024, Julien, a patron from the very first hour, wrote to me with an idea: what if you could like a photo and build your own gallery?

It’s done.

The My Collection feature lets patrons mark the images that touch them and find them gathered together, on computer and mobile, attached to their account. Your gaze builds its own room, over the course of your visits. A ‘manage my collection’ function lets you delete images. A brilliant way to FINALLY make a visit that builds your preferences!

Thank you, Julien. It took you two years of patience and the invention of AI for me to be able to program this on Wix Velo!

Thanks to the Patrons’ Circle

None of this would exist without you.

It is your support that funds the studio, the hours of retouching, the development of the site, and the freedom to photograph what I want, as I want. And as the story of My Collection shows, it is also your ideas that make this place grow.

You keep an artistic work alive. That is exactly what patron means.

Thanks.

Yohann
